equipment. High temperatures, vibration, excessive dust and contamination are setting the
limits for standard equipment.

PROBLEM
A lubrication system has to make sure that lubricating oil is getting to all parts of the machinery. At times oil lines may not be supplying oil to the gears due to line breakage, plugged line, leaks etc.
In industry where gear cases are needed to drive a mechanical system, lubrication of the gears in the gear case is vital. In this particular application spray nozzles are employed as shown above to supply lubricant to the gears of the gear case.
The solution to the problem is to monitor each spray nozzle with a flow captor. If oil flow to any of the nozzles decreases or stops, the flow captor produces an alarm signal. Prevent serious damage to equipment and “loss of production time”
